The framework agreement covers a broad range of issues within the energy and power sector. Assignments may include analyses of power and energy markets, assessments of policy instruments, socio-economic analysis, as well as technical and economic evaluations of energy system developments and measures.
THEMA and Norconsult have an established working relationship and collaborate regularly on projects. The partnership is built on complementary expertise: THEMA brings specialist expertise on market analysis and market design, while Norconsult contributes strong technical and engineering expertise. Together, this provides a solid basis for analysis that combines expertise across markets, technology and regulation.
This is the third time that THEMA has been awarded a framework agreement with the Ministry of Energy. The framework agreement runs for three years with possible extensions. The new agreement provides a strong foundation for continued analytical and advisory work on key issues in Norwegian energy policy.
