Education: MSc in Energy and Environmental Engineering (NTNU) specialising in Electrical Power Systems
Most of the projects I work on in THEMA concern the power grid, covering technical and financial analyses, strategic advisory, network regulation and tariffs. I work on the challenges and opportunities facing network companies as the power system and power market adapt, including issues related to consumer flexibility and the role of DSOs. I am also responsible for the development of THEMA’s regulated network revenue model (TIM), and use it to conduct various analyses including revenue framework calculations and grid company valuations.
In THEMA, I get to work on a varied set of projects in which I can both apply my existing knowledge of the power system and continuously learn something new. I often get a sense of achievement from being challenged and given responsibility, while always having the opportunity to usefully discuss my approach with good colleagues.
