THEMA is participating in the National Competence Center for Onshore Wind

THEMA is part of the group that will guide municipalities on the planning and development of onshore wind power

The Ministry of Energy has awarded funding to establish a national competence center for onshore wind power.
The competence center will assist municipalities with guidance on issues related to onshore wind. The advisory services do not involve taking a position for or against wind power; that decision rests with each municipal council.

The National Competence Center for Onshore Wind is a collaboration that, in addition to THEMA, includes the National Association of Norwegian Wind Power Municipalities (LNVK) and the law firm Lund & Co DA. There is also a partnership with the Fridtjof Nansen Institute (FNI) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
