Fnan works on issues at the intersection of policy, regulation, and organization. She analyses how new energy-related legislation affects actors in the sector and helps companies understand and adapt to regulatory changes. As an economist, she is particularly interested in how new energy projects impact local communities, i.e. through ripple effect analyses, and how local acceptance and power development are interconnected.
She also works on translating energy-related insights into training initiatives for energy companies to support those who work with this in practice every day.
