Education: MSc in Financial Economics (Norwegian Business School, BI), Authorised Financial Analyst (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration)
I work with strategic advisory, business development and mergers and acquisitions. Through corporate ownership processes, I assist local governments at municipality and county level to formulate distinct and clear ownership strategies that define clear objectives for the ownership and a framework for ongoing corporate management. In strategy processes, I typically support the management by facilitating work processes and assessing the company’s business portfolio. Making strategic choices implies a need to prioritise the use of the company’s total resources and direct them in such a way that they provide the best prospects for success. Strategic decision processes can therefore identify a need for changes to business areas, business models or for structural changes such as mergers, sales or acquisitions. In structural processes, I support the valuation of assets and integration processes. I also support companies with the assessment of future demands on the business model.
We have a very good working environment in THEMA with pleasant working days and a lot of fun in various social gatherings. It is fantastic to work in a place where some of the best experts within different disciplines are your colleagues. This enables us to solve most of the challenges we face. Working in THEMA means that every day brings something new, something I truly enjoy. I usually work with several projects at the same time and meet a lot of interesting people around the country. The power sector is full of nice and knowledgeable people and meeting them energises and inspires me. I feel very lucky to have the job and colleagues I do.
