I am leading the overall model development and quantitative analysis team at THEMA. When I started at THEMA in 2010, I was responsible for developing our power market model TheMA. I am also heavily involved in price forecasts, investment analysis, and scenario analysis. Last but not least, I do a lot of projects for our German and Continental clients and follow the German and Continental electricity market developments closely.
I like to work with concrete quantitative challenges and with model development. Most of all, I am motivated by finding elegant and efficient solutions, illustrations, and persuasive arguments for complicated quantitative challenges and questions that our clients raise. This way of working is appreciated both by THEMA and – most importantly – by our clients. And of course, I enjoy working in an environment with so many bright people. Working at THEMA is constant learning.
Earlier experience: Charles River Associates – CRA (London), Deutsche Bank (Frankfurt), Econ Anlyse/Econ Pöyry (Oslo)
