On September 26, the cards will be reshuffled in German politics. In a neck-and-neck race, there are three serious contenders for the chancellorship: Olaf Scholz from SPD, Armin Laschet fra CDU and, for the first time, Annalena Baerbock from the Greens.
The tasks for a new federal government are gigantic: fighting climate change, detailing the coal phase-out, re-evaluating the expansion paths for renewable energies, while keeping the electricity price at an acceptable level.
We have analyzed the election programs of all parties with regard to the energy and climate policy aspects and evaluate which effects the respective coalition constellations can have on the energy markets in Germany, Europe and Scandinavia.
In cooperation with the Norwegian-German Chamber of Commerce in Oslo and the communication agency Kruse Larsen, we will present the evaluation of the election results on September 28 at 09:00. In this context, Kruse Larsen will also discuss the election in Norway.
