Education Master’s and PhD in physics (Technische Universität Berlin) with specialization in semiconductor physics
I mainly work with new technologies and their impact on the energy industry. To be able to do that, the technologies must be understood, the effects parameterized and then implemented in our numerical models. I have a particular focus on topics related to the power grid, the backbone of our future energy supply.
The ongoing crucial transformation of the energy system makes the energy sector one of the most exciting industries to work in. I like to shed light onto this transformation process from different angles through the wide range of projects THEMA is engaged in, preferably together with our customers, to obtain an even better understanding of different future energy scenarios. I so contribute to well-founded future business decisions. I particularly enjoy uncovering and presenting the core of complex challenges in an efficient and comprehensible way.
Prior experience: Elvia, Smart Innovation Norway, Reiner Lemoine Institut (Berlin), Hanwha Q-Cells (Leipzig)
