Roald helps clients understand and respond to changes in electricity market design and regulation. His work includes analysing balancing and ancillary services, evaluating tariff structures, and assessing the financial and competitive impacts of regulatory frameworks.
He develops market models, conducts cost-benefit and scenario analyses, and advises on investment incentives and flexibility solutions. Whether working with system operators, regulators or market participants, he provides clear, data-driven insights to support effective decision-making in complex energy markets.
Education:
Master’s in Economics (University of Oslo), Bachelor’s in Economics (Norwegian University of Life Sciences)
