Education: MA Economic Geography, Economics, Political Science (RWTH Aachen University)
I see achieving climate neutrality as one of the biggest challenges of this century. There is broad consensus across industry, politics and society about what needs to be achieved, but not about how we best get there. Further uncertainty is created by disruptions like digitalisation and geopolitical events.
I want to help our clients find opportunities in this challenging environment. Being a good advisor in this regard requires one to listen carefully and take the client’s needs and worries into account. This is how you best reach a common understanding of the initial situation. Then, by combining analysis of the latest data with updated insights on market, regulatory and technological developments, one can define and deliver appropriate strategic advice for the future.
This perspective is perfectly reflected in my work at THEMA. My main contribution is providing expertise in policy and regulatory analysis, as well strategic advice and the ability to draw on a broad network. Our team integrates and makes use of people from diverse backgrounds, from different sectors and academic disciplines, with long-time expertise or with fresh input from university. THEMA has an international senior team, now based in Oslo and Berlin. We also have an encouraging and engaged workplace where success is driven and defined not only by KPIs but also by motivation and fun.
Prior experience: E.ON SE (Düsseldorf, Brussels, Berlin), German Parliament (Berlin), eclareon GmbH (Berlin)
