Lorenzo builds and operates data infrastructure for THEMAs energy market analysis. He leads the development of THEMAs internal data and analysis platform and the tools that our customers use to explore power market data and scenarios. His work covers the full data pipeline: sourcing data from external APIs and internal systems, designing and maintaining automated ETL processes, and preparing high-quality data inputs for our optimisation models.
Lorenzo also delivers technical solutions for THEMAs projects. This includes running tailored analyses on market and system data, and ensuring that the underlying infrastructure is secure, reliable and scalable
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in management (University of Turin)
MSc in Business Analytics (BI Norwegian Business School)

I like building things that are used. My work is not a slide deck; it runs in production, supports real decisions, and keeps getting iterated. That tight loop between designing a solution, shipping it, and seeing it actually solve a problem is a major driver for me.
