The webinar is for investors, utilities, financial institutions and other stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.
We are going to cover, among other things:
- What are useful indicators,
- How to perform benchmarks,
- The assessment of weather risks,
- Typical pitfalls and challenges, and
- Available methods, data sources, and best practice.
We will use investment cases from the Netherlands (offshore wind), Sweden (SE2 onshore wind), and Spain (PV) to illustrate available methods, tools, and databases for valuing PPAs. The quantification of these examples will be based on THEMA’s latest power market outlook for Europe and THEMA’s latest tools and weather databases for the assessment of PPAs and market values.
In addition to quantifying market values and market risks for these assets, the webinar will also touch upon other factors that should be considered, such as regulatory risk factors.
