THEMA keeps growing and this autumn we are welcoming a record number of new employees. Two weens ago we onboarded a total of 13 new THEMA consultants, of whom three will join the Berlin office, with the rest working in Oslo.
Utku holds a master’s in renewable energy engineering and management from University of Freiburg, as well as a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Sabanci University in Istanbul. He has worked as a long-term energy analyst intern at APLUS Enerji for several months and also has experience as a Research-Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE). In THEMA, he will be working on power market analyses.
Oyeshi holds a master’s in international affairs from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. She also has a bachelor’s in political science from Jadavpur University in India. Alongside her studies, she has worked as a research assistant with the Research Institute for Sustainability in Potsdam. At THEMA, Oyeshi will work on regulatory mechanisms and market analyses related to THEMA’s power market reports.
Oslo office:
Lina has a master’s in management and organisational psychology, as well as a bachelor’s in communication management, from BI Norwegian Business School. She has prior consulting experience at Wiklund-Hansen International. With us, she will work in areas such as strategy development and organisational and operational improvement.
Anders studied industrial economics and technology management with a specialisation in electrical power engineering, and optimisation at NTNU. He previously interned at Aker Offshore Wind and Heimdall Power, and during the summer of 2021 and spring of 2022, he was an intern at THEMA. Now, he’s back and will be working on tasks including strategy, market analysis and power system modelling.
Fnan is a recent graduate in economics from the University of Bergen. During her studies, Fnan worked as a seminar leader in economics at UiB and was project employee for the organization Papillon. At THEMA, she will work on analyses and assessments of the power system and contribute to the design of measures to achieve the green transition.
David is a recent graduate from NTNU, where he studied industrial economics and technology management, specializing in electric power engineering and finance. Throughout his studies, he has gained experience from both Elvia, BaneNOR, THEMA and DIW Berlin. David will be working on strategy and business development, as well as further developing our quantitative models.
Øystein holds a master’s in economics from NTNU. His master’s thesis focuses on the consumption response among mortgage customers in the face of interest rate changes. During his exchange program in Munich, Øystein delved into power markets and energy economics. He has previous experience from BN Bank and the Institute of Transport Economics. At THEMA, Øystein will work on regulations and market design.
Victor has studied industrial economics and technology management with a specialisation in optimisation at NTNU. He has previously interned at Hydro Energy and Rystad Energy. At THEMA, he will work on power market analysis and the further development of our power price forecasts.
Olve holds a master’s in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) with a specialisation in energy, natural resources, and the environment. During his studies, he interned at Equinor and Africa Greentec. With us, he will work on tasks including transaction support, revenue cap regulation and valuation of various companies in the power sector.
Ivar is a recent graduate in industrial economics and technology management with a specialisation in product development and production from NTNU. He has previous consulting experience as a Partner in Junior Consulting, and he has also interned at Rystad Energy and Sval. At THEMA, Ivar will work on strategy and business development. He will also be involved in further developing THEMA’s quantitative models.
Leonora has studied economics and business administration at NHH with a specialisation in energy, natural resources and the environment. She also holds a bachelor’s in strategy from NTNU Business School. In 2022, she interned at Nysnø Climate Invest. At THEMA, Leonora will be working on tasks including transaction support and valuations.
Lorenzo has a master’s in business analytics from BI Norwegian Business School and a bachelor’s in management from the University of Turin. He has been working part-time at THEMA for the past six months alongside his studies, but now he’s on board full-time. In the future, he will continue to work on quantitative analysis and further develop the use of data by THEMA’s price forecasting model.
